When did you join IMET?

I joined IMET in September 2022 having gained valuable experience working for Sabena Technics for over four years.

What do you do here at IMET? What is your main responsibility?

I’m responsible for managing key commercial accounts and ensuring alignment between our European operations and our US business. This includes overseeing the day-to-day flow of products while helping to maintain consistency and best practices across regions.

What do you need to be good at to do your job well? What particular skills and knowledge do you have?

My previous role at Sabena Technics, taught me valuable insight into the aerospace sector and the importance of precision and reliability in every part of the supply chain.

Since joining IMET, I’ve become a specialist in titanium products, in particular in its different solid forms. To maintain our customers’ trust, I rely on a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills to ensure every transaction runs smoothly.

What problems do you need to overcome as part of your work?

I need to stay up to date with the different applications for the metal we handle, especially used in the melt industry.

How do you know when your work has gone well?

I know we’ve done well when our customers send us new products or more of their metals to process.

What do you enjoy most about your job and working in this industry?

I never get bored in my job. I love that no two days are the same and that we’re constantly challenged – in a good way – to do our best.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love hiking and discovering new cities. We’re also renovating our house, which is a long-term project!
