When did you join IMET?
I joined IMET in May 2017.
What do you do here at IMET? What is your main responsibility?
I’m a titanium (Ti) lead. I help manage the titanium and Super Alloy sorting.
What do you need to be good at to do your job well? What particular skills and knowledge do you have?
To do this job you need to have patience and determination. I’m cross-trained, so have knowledge of both super alloy and titanium departments, such as crushing and sorting. I also manage others and load and unload trucks when needed.
What problems do you need to overcome as part of your work?
Adversity. Everyone is going to have challenges, whether at work or at home. It’s up to you to overcome these challenges and stay focused.
How do you know when your work has gone well?
When I see that my manager and the rest of the team are happy. I also receive feedback that production is running smoothly.
What do you enjoy most about your job and working in this industry?
I enjoy the management and the team that I work with the most. I also love being in a work environment that provides opportunities for growth.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Spending time with my family, travelling and playing basketball.
