Protecting our planet is one of the three areas we focus on as part of our corporate and social responsibilities

As a global sustainable business, our priorities also align with the UN’s 13th sustainable development goal: climate action.

To improve our environmental performance, we work to:

  • Reduce our greenhouse gas emissions through energy-efficient practices and by using renewable energy where possible.
  • Implement rigorous waste management protocols to ensure we reuse, recycle or dispose of our waste responsibly.
  • Use fewer resources by optimizing our production processes and encouraging sustainable practices among our suppliers.

How we understand our greenhouse gas emissions

When we understand our own carbon footprint, we can take action to reduce our emissions and make our business more sustainable.

In 2023, we appointed an internal environmental champion, Charlie Edwards. Charlie’s role is to help us understand and reduce our carbon emissions. In 2024, he worked with APAVE, a private consultancy, to review our carbon footprint and identify how we can:

  • reduce our emissions
  • ensure accurate emissions reporting in the future.

This work supports our commitment to environmental responsibility, transparency, and sustainability. We now have a report and transition plan we are using to:

  • see where we’re doing well
  • see where we can take action to improve
  • monitor our progress.

Our commitment to future generations

We’ll continue to adopt and develop sustainable practices that minimize our carbon footprint. This will help us, and it will help our customers as they look for carbon savings throughout their supply chain.

Ultimately, what we do will help future generations enjoy the same environmental, economic and social benefits and opportunities we do today.
