When did you join IMET?
I started with IMET in February 2024. Before joining the company, I was an HSE project manager for a consulting firm.
What do you do here at IMET? What is your main responsibility?
I’m the QSHE Manager for France, which means I’m in charge of quality, safety, health and environment.
What do you need to be good at to do your job well? What particular skills and knowledge do you have?
I need to make sure we follow the right regulations and use the latest techniques to meet our customers’ requirements. To do this I need to listen to others, be rigorous about detail and communicate well to enforce IMET’s rules.
What problems do you need to overcome as part of your work?
To make sure we meet our customers’ needs, maintain our certifications and satisfy external regulators we need to follow a lot of regulations. We also need to make sure our team works in complete safety. So my job is to keep on top of all this and make sure we immediately respond to any changes or new requirements.
How do you know when your work has gone well?
Positive feedback from our customers following audits, our safety and environmental data, and the fact that we maintain our ISO certifications all tell me our work has gone well.
What do you enjoy most about your job and working in this industry?
I’m happy to work in an industry that’s committed to respecting the environment. I also really like working in a Scottish company and have found learning about a new culture very enriching.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and taking long walks by the ocean. I also like to go mushroom picking when they’re in season.
