Most of us have been in the superalloys and titanium industry all our working lives. Some of us have worked in your industry.
It’s why we have such a good understanding of the demands you face. And why we know exactly what you need from your hi-tech materials, and from us.
To show you what we mean, we’d like to introduce a few people from our talented team.
We invest in our team because we value them. No matter how advanced our technology is, we know it's our people who make things happen.
Our investment is in time as well as in opportunities for personal and professional development. Our culture includes open and direct communication, where we encourage questions and are quick to give feedback. We say when things have gone well and when we can see room for growth.
Several of our leadership team began their career with us on the shop floor. They show how everyone in our team has the chance to learn and progress. As well as offering opportunities for CPD, we involve people in decision making to encourage accountability and the freedom to innovate.
The IMET Academy is an online learning and development tool that supports the other training opportunities we provide. It includes modules to help our team develop their skills and knowledge across all areas of our business, from a new apprentice on the shop floor to an experienced manager in our leadership team.
As well as supporting our team in their personal development, the academy helps us provide a clear career pathway and show that a future with IMET is full of possibility.
We're looking for people like Charlie. If you're a recent graduate and think you have something to offer us, we'd like to hear from you.
They gain valuable hands-on industry experience and a chance to put their learning into practice. We gain fresh perspectives on what we do
The apprenticeships are for three years and combine classroom study, onsite hands-on learning and mentoring from our maintenance team leaders.
Work is important, but it should never be all-consuming. We want everyone who works here to enjoy a healthy work-life balance. We also understand the value people's personal experience has in their work. So we encourage our team to pursue their outside interests and help them do this wherever we can.
